This piece was born through a collaboration with the collectors who purchased “The Forlorn Emperor”. They loved the painting but thought him a bit overly sad and lonely. So, we began brainstorming about what a companion painting might look like – a mate for the emperor. And in all her open-hearted brilliance, amid a swirl of flowers and riding a Wishing Stone, a princess appeared. “Yoohoo, her I am!” she announces.
