Like most of my works, there is both a personal and a universal message. The previous 3 years my life had encompassed more change – much of it painful – than I had ever experienced before. However, in the midst of it there was an unshakable foundation of love that has seen me through to a place I never dreamed I would find myself in. The building symbolizes my search for ‘a home’ during this time, while the stones relay a precarious balance that is belied by the fact that it has withstood over time.
